![]() Here's the deal...In regards to "working in film" and being a Christian, what does that look like? To some it's simply to speak your faith most of the time while you're working. To others, it's just living like you live, working hard, making a lot of friends, hoping that one day a question will arise and you cant drop the J.C. bomb! So, what is it then? do you preach? or do you live? In my experience since 1994, I have seen 3 types of Christians on set. 1st: The Christian who talks too much and doesn't work hard enough, and never get work, so they start their own production company that never goes anywhere (cheese-factor issues really) thus...no fruit. 2nd: The Christian who never says anything about their faith, conform to the entertainment industry culture, works extremely hard, always has work. Even very successful! Has lots of friends, but no real fruit. 3rd: The Christian who works hard, serves his or hers fellow workers. Extremely interested in the lives of the other workers, and meets the needs of them as they come up. This would usually leads to bringing up their faith. Which also would lead to being proactive outside of film work maintaining relationship, ultimately producing some sort of fruit. Now...what do you think? If you don't work in this industry, you might not understand how the people think and work. Having said that, What are your thoughts on "Being a light" in the film industry? Jamie Rauch
